The organizers of Coachella
festival have secured permission to stage two further festivals. But what could
possibly follow two weeks of amazing music in a row?!
The council in Indio,
California where Coachella is staged every year have approved a proposal by
promotion company Goldenvoice which will see two extra concerts take place
every Autumn.
he extra concerts will see
one 75,000 capacity show and a second show with a capacity of 99,000 though no
specific details have been announced yet.
I’m thinking it could be a Latin
music even or an Electronic music even? Anyone have any other suggestions? Perhaps
they will create a metal festival?
Coachella currently runs over
two consecutive weekends in April and Goldenvoice also promote the three-day
Stagecoach country music festival.
