TUPAC ON BROADWAY!*^&)$ I kid you not!

I kid you not! “Holler If Ya Hear Me,” a jukebox musical inspired by rap icon Tupac Shakur, will hit Broadway this year.

“Holler,” the gritty slice of urban life will be the first out of the gate, when it begins performances on May 26, 2014, before officially opening at the Palace Theatre on June 19, 2014.

Seriously, a TUPAC musical! WTF?!

“Holler” will lean heavily on Shakur’s music and lyrics, but the show will not be a biography about the late rapper’s rise to the top of the charts. Instead it will tell a different story about street-life, producers said. Shakur died in 1996 from multiple gunshot wounds he received in a Las Vegas drive-by-shooting. :(

 Kenny Leon (“A Raisin in the Sun”) will direct the show, while Todd Kreidler (“Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner“) will write the book. The rapper’s mother, Afeni Shakur, is one of the show’s producers.

Casting for the production will be announced at a later date.

MACCULAY CULKIN'S NEW BAND - PIZZA & VELVET UNDERGROUND FUCKING WHA?!

I fucking LOVE IT! Wehther you like it or not, you know you’re curious to check out Macaulay Culkin's pizza themed band The Pizza Underground,  have just released their first music video.

According to NME, the New York based  quintet perform their pizza themed Velvet Underground covers in the promo, which was  directed by Adrian Arredondo.

I love it! I mean it’s pizza and Velvet Underground, right?! How could it be wrong? 

The Pizza Underground recently announced a  North America (I want to do the merch! - I want a Pizza Underground T-shirt!), with a run of dates including shows at SXSW in Austin, Texas in March. The band perform pizza themed takes on Velvet Underground songs, including 'I'm Waiting for the Delivery Man', 'Cheese Days', 'I'm Beginning to Eat the Slice', 'All The Pizza Parties' and 'Take A Bite of the Wild Slice'.

Yes I will take some Pizza Underground, extra cheese please! 

QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE: A NIGHT OF A THOUSAND VAGINAS

Queens Of The Stone Age frontman Josh Homme is set to take part in an event called A Night Of A Thousand Vaginas.

The evening is being put on by reproductive rights group A Is For and will raise money for the Texas Abortion Fund. 

A Night Of A Thousand Vaginas will take place at the Largo comedy theatre in Los Angeles on January 19. The event will be hosted by Parks and Recreation actress Retta and comedy writer Laura Kightlinger and will also see appearances from comedians Zach Galifianakis, Sarah Silverman, Steve Agee, Jen Kirkman and Tiffany Haddish.

Meanwhile, Homme recently said that his band will record the follow-up to 2013's '...Like Clockwork' later this year..  

"Absolutely.  We're booked 'til September, but after that we plan to jump in the studio and get going," said the singer.

About spending time in the studio, Homme explained: "When it's time to make music, that's about getting lost for me. To be a control freak is not half as good as being a freak who's casually in control. You're feeling around in the dark for something that feels good. As long as you're not in an orgy, that can be an amazing moment."

BRIGHT EYES ACCUSED OF RAPING A 16 YEAR OLD

Let me start off by saying I DON”T BELIEVE IT! So, an anonymous person recently accused Bright Eyes of rape and he was like, NO WAY JOSE!

Bright Eyes' Conor Oberst has issued a statement in response to an online blog post from an anonymous user, who claims she was raped by him.

Last month, an unnamed commenter responded to an article on the website XOJane detailing what is was like to date an abusive rock star. She said: "I was raped by a 'rock star' myself. I was 16 years old, he was in his 20s. No one believed me (he wasn’t even that famous then)."

She later claimed that the "rock star" she was talking about was Bright Eyes frontman Conor Oberst. She then wrote that she met the singer through her English teacher who was Oberst's brother, and claimed that she was given to the moody singer as a 16th birthday present, (Oh shit!) which is when she alleges she was raped. A Tumblr user subsequently re-published the series of posts and it has since gone viral. Cause people LOVE bullshit!

In her post, the commenter says she regrets not telling anyone about the alleged incident at the time, but says she didn't think anyone would believe her.

Oberst’s publicist responded to the claims: 

"Usually we wouldn't feel the urge to comment on spurious blog chatter but the recent allegations made about Conor Oberst by an anonymous commenter on the xoJane website are flagrant enough to demand our response. This individual's accusations are absolutely, unequivocally false. Unfortunately, the internet allows for groundless statements like this to travel the world before the truth has any time to surface. This is a particularly serious and sickening allegation and there is no truth to it. Conor has nothing but abhorrence for the perpetrators of crimes of sexual violence. The behavior attributed to him by this individual is in direct opposition to his principles. Conor is consulting with a libel attorney regarding this matter."
