STATISTICS NEW ALBUM WILL BLOW YOUR MIND - DOWNLOAD FOR FREE HERE!

No this isn't the cover of a romance novel, this is the AMAZING new work by NY based artist, Denver Dalley.

Don’t miss out on this AMAZING new FREE album by Statistics. The new album titled Peninsula, is the brain child of Denver Dalley, a singer songwriter who collaborates with Conor Oberst of Bright Eyes in the politically charged indie rock band Desaparecidos and is currently touring with Har Mar Supersar. He's a busy man!

Statistics, Dalley’s current solo project, is an electronic-tinged gem, sprinkled with r&b, rock and dance. The tracks fluctuate from futuristic synth beats to introspective to futuristic funk-dance that invite you to loose all inhibitions. In ‘Take The Lead’, he sings: “Let me take the lead, will you trust in me, I got every things that you need.” Think Jamiroquai meets, Michael Jackson. ‘Menu Screen,’ warps you into an icy synth dream that is absolutely gorgeous.  ‘Awake’ is another dancey track that fuses new wave with far out funk. In short, this is a badass album! And you are lame if you don't get onto this, seriously!

Dalley will be performing with Desaparecidos later this year.  Stay tuned for dates.

After an incredible sixteen-year run it was time for the band to take a well-deserved break.

"It's a lovely life," reflects bassist Dougie Payne, "but when you do it relentlessly, there's a point when it snaps you. We decided to take a break to spend time with our families. You stay away as long as it takes" he says of the well-judged fallow period "so you feel that hunger and desire to get back to it same as you did at the start."

Not only is the singer Kelly Jones one big bundle of hotness, but Its so exciting to see what amazing tunes his raspy and sexy voice will interpret. However if this album is half as good as any of their last we are in for a treat.

Earlier this year the Welsh hot sauces released Graffiti on the Train in the U.K. The album was a success and has remained in the Top 20 ever since. Affirming that this is their best album in a decade, the album has quickly gone gold and is well on its way to platinum status in the U.K.

NO DEAL FOR THE PIXIES!

With a heavy heart we regretfully inform that Kim Deal has quit The Pixies for good. I know this sucks!

Although the band hasn't released any new material lately it was still amazing to know you still had the chance to see them live.

The remaining members Black Francis, Joey Santiago and David Lovering have released a statement on their official Facebook page confirming that Deal is out.

It reads: "We are sad to say that Kim Deal has decided to leave the Pixies. We are very proud to have worked with her on and off over the last 25 years. Despite her decision to move on, we will always consider her a member of the Pixies, and her place will always be here for her. We wish her all the best."

Deal, who is currently touring the 20th anniversary re-release of her other band, The Breeders' landmark album 'Last Splash', is yet to comment on her departure. She joined the band right from their inception in 1986. All we can do is hope she changes her mind. :(

At least she didn't quit the band via FAX!
