NAKED HALLOWEEN HAUNT!

The last few years have seen purveyors of haunted houses stepping up their game in an effort to out scare the scariest and deliver something a bit far more thrilling than the usual scare tactics.

This Halloween Pennsylvania’s Shocktoberfest is definitely going “out there” and beyond. Located in Sinking Spring, Pennsylvania, the fest is a haunted scream park that plays host to several different experiences, including a hayride and even a good old fashioned game of zombie paintball.

This year, in an effort to spice up the park even more, they've launched the 'Naked and Scared Challenge,' daring visitors to take off all their clothes and walk through a haunted house in the buff. For realz!

So basically, now you can skip dressing slutty and getting drunk before getting gropped by a stranger in a mask!

Beginning at midnight, you've got the option of walking through one of their haunted houses either fully nude or in your underwear (nude or prude, they call it), and Shocktoberfest's website assures that the inside of the attraction will be pitch black, so that no one will be able to see your bosoms and/or dangling parts. They also promise that nobody who is not nude will ever be able to see you nude; this way everyone is on a level playing field.

The most concerning thing about this bizarre experiment is that all who take part in it have to sign a waiver beforehand, which I can only assume includes the warning that the park isn't responsible for any frisky clowns or accidental pregnancies.  I don’t know, but Sounds more like a swinger’s party to me…

But, you know, no judgment here. If you've ever had the craving to walk around in a dark building with a bunch of naked people, then make sure to reserve your tickets for this year's Shocktoberfest. The fun runs through November 3rd.

SURPRISE SURPRISE CHRIS BROWN IS ARRESTED AGAIN

A felony assault charge filed against the misogynistic piece of shit that is Chris Brown in Washington, D.C., over the weekend. This could mean a judge may find him guilty of violating probation in his Los Angeles conviction for assaulting (beating the crap out of) Rihanna.

If he is found guilty, he could be sentenced to serve up to four years in jail. Fingers crossed. I still incredibly annoying that while any other man would have isntantly gone to jail for beating a girl to a bloody pulp, this buffoon gets a free pass.

The R&B singer and his bodyguard, Christopher Hollosy, were arrested early Sunday at the W Hotel (lord knows why this time) and are due in court Monday on the charges, according to Washington Metro police spokesman Anthony Clay.

Brown is still on probation for his 2009 felony assault in L.A. County on then-girlfriend Rihanna. The terms of his five-year probation require he obey all laws. Yeah with this guy, good luck!

Sunday's incident was the latest run-in with the law for the Grammy-winning singer. He is due back in a Los Angeles courtroom Nov. 20, at which time a judge could set a probation violation hearing, depending on what is learned about the Washington, D.C., incident.

Details of the arrest and charge in the nation’s capital will be reviewed by the L.A. County Probation Department and then provided to the district attorney's office.

As part of his L.A. sentence, Brown had to complete an anger-management course and extensive community service. But he has been accused of violating the terms by disobeying laws and failing to perform the appropriate community service. No shit?! Just throw him in the can already!

HOLY SHIT! PASSION PIT ROCK THE GREEK!

Last Friday, the synth-pop band from Massachusetts came, played, and killed it!

“Holy sh*t! We’re playing the Greek!” said Passion Pit’s Michael Angelakos as the Massachusetts band looked out into the sold-out 5,870-seat Greek Theater. The signer repeated the phrase a number of times in between songs with a childlike expression of wonder and disbelief as he gallivanted across the stage giving his fans everything he had.

“This is our last run of shows for Gossamer before we go and make a new album, and this one is for all of you that have supported us,” he said.

It’s true that the band has performed in numerous venues and festivals before. However, playing a venue like the Greek, in the heart of the city of rock, was not just an accomplishment for the group, but an indication that yes, they are now in the “big leagues.”

The band opened the concert with “Make Light,” from their debut album Manners. It didn’t matter where you sat or who sat next to you because it was clear that everyone was ready and eager to get down to the dance rock bands tunes. They continued to play songs from their first album, including the “Eyes as Candles,” and the ever catchy “The Reeling,” which is always a favorite.

Passion Pit are known for their super fun, dynamic shows. After witnessing them for the first time, in my humble opinion, that is 100% true. Every time Angelakos strained to wail all the almost perfectly pitched falsetto notes, it felt as if he was playing singing just for this particular audience. His warm inviting presence and that along with Drummer Nathan Donmoyer‘s impeccable timing and passionate bravado interlaced with their trademark keyboard and synths delivered by Ian Hultquist (keyboards, guitar), Xander Singh (synthesizer, samples) literally blew your mind!

Later in the set, the group played the R&B styled, “Constant Conversations,” and while the song is lovely, this crowd was good and ready for some dance electro under the starts. Many opted to take a quick brake to run to the restroom or grab a drink.

The group performed “I’ll Be Alright” and “Silvia,” among other tracks from their latest album,Gossamer. But “Take A Walk,” as expected, was one of the outstanding moments of the evening. It was so good you almost forgot that it was the theme song for one of the Taco Bell commercials. From that point on, it felt like someone had doused the audience with adrenaline and everyone wanted more.

The energy the entire band gave off was electric and contagious throughout the evening. As the night came to an end people began to murmur: “I think they’re closing with ‘Sleepy Head’.”

Not long after, the dreamy electro quiver from their 2008 EP Chunk of Change began and like mass shock therapy, the entire audience erupted into one big dance spasm. “Sleepy Head” indeed closed the show, and the band cemented their new “big boy” status while gifting their fans with an unforgettable experience.

FIFTY SHADES OF GREY'S NEW LEADING MAN

Now that’s more like it! Has the Fifty Shades of Grey film finally found its leading man in actor Jamie Dorman?
Ever since Charlie Hunnam (whatever, he’s better Sons of Anarchy guy) dropped out of the film, everyone’s been dying to find out who will be the actor to take charge of that Red Room of Pain.

The name of every hot sauce in Hollywood with anything resembling smoldering gray eyes has been tossed around, but Jamie Dornan is reportedly the favorite to play Christian Grey.

The actor, who began his career as a model for campaigns like Calvin Klein, Armani and Dior, recently played the huntsman in the TV series Once Upon A Time. In 2006, he made his film debut opposite Kirsten Dunst in Marie Antoinette. That same year, the New York Times dubbed him "the Golden Torso," because hmm DUH!

TIM BURTON READY FOR BEETLEJUICE 2.0

I don’t know why it took so long for this long awaited sequel, but at least they got the right man for the job! Tim Burton may be directing Michael Keaton in a sequel to Beetlejuice.

Burton directed the 1988 original, which starred Keaton as a so-called "bio-exorcist" trying to scare away the new human inhabitants of a haunted house so that a ghost couple, played by Alec Baldwin and Geena Davis, can continue living there. Catherine O'Hara, Jeffrey Jones and a 17-year-old Winona Ryder co-starred as the human family members. In January of this year (2013) Burton spoke about the possibility of returning for the planned sequel, which is in the works at Warner Bros, saying: "Those were fun characters, but I'd have to see what the script was like."

Now The Wrap is reporting that his interest in the sequel is "no mere flirtation" and Burton is "officially in talks" to direct Beetlejuice 2. Yay! Keaton is expected to return as the title character.
The “part deuce”  has a script by Seth Grahame-Smith, who also co-wrote the screenplay for Burton's 2012 film Dark Shadows. Speaking back in May 2012, Grahame Smith said the new Beetlejuice movie would not be a "remake," but a proper sequel, “With Michael Keaton as the title character".

I wonder if they'll be bringing Winona Ryder, Gina Davis and Alec Baldwain?!

ARACDE FIRE'S NEW MUSIC AND HOROR FILM

Arcade Fire are so freaking good I want to explode into a million pieces when I listen to them!
The band are to release a Halloween themed 'Breakglass' video which already sounds bitchin.
The promo shows the band performing in spooky, batty, face paint with a song, rumored to be a new album track, played backwards over the top. The video is the latest promotional video released by Arcade Fire in the run up to their forthcoming studio album 'Reflektor', out on Monday (October 28).
frontman Win Butler revealed that Arcade Fire's interest in the paranormal runs beyond playing liv, wearing face paint and being freaky. Yep, they are so cool they even make horror movies!
Speaking about a series of horror films the band made while recording the album at Trident Castle in Jamaica, Butler says: "It was inspiring - we filmed a fake horror movie there, we had a lot of fun there. The one from the SNL special is the prequel." When asked if the films will be released, Butler replies: "I don’t know, be cool if it did right?"

Earlier this week the band debuted the studio version of 'Afterlife', another song taken from 'Reflektor'. Watch the official lyric video for the song right above.
