BONAROO MUSIC FESTIVAL LINE UP IS RAD!

With the exception of a pedophile (R Kelly) and some dorky banjo freaks (Mumford & Sons) some amazing acts are going to perform at this year’s Bonaroo Festival. Paul McCartney, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and Bjork are all set to headline this summer’s festival in Manchester, Tennessee.

The festival will take place from June 13th through the 16th and will also see performances from legendary Wu-Tang Clan, The Gaslight Anthem, The xx, David Byrne and St Vincent, Grizzly Bear, Wilco and Animal Collective.

In addition, Alt-J, Cat Power, The National, The Vaccines and A$AP Rocky will play the event, along with Two Gallants, Deap Vally, Nas, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes and Passion Pit.

BRITAIN'S NEWEST STAR HITS THE ROAD WITH COACHELLA HEADLINERS

BRITAIN'S NEW ARTIST HITS THE ROAD WITH COACHELLA HEADLINERS...

If you don’t know this young new artist, take a second and learn about Jake Bugg. Noel Gallagher is taking this young musician under his wing helping him quickly hone his skills. I mean, if you doubt his abilities, he IS supporting the Stone Roses!

Like his mentor, Jake Bugg recently hit out at Mumford & Sons, saying they look like "posh farmers with banjos". I LOVE HIM ALREADY!

Bugg has announced a headline tour for the autumn, which will see him playing his largest venues to date. The nine-date tour will kick off at Birmingham BIC on October 19 and finish up at Manchester O2 Apollo on November 6. The jaunt will include a night at London O2 Academy Brixton, on October 23. Tickets go on sale February 21 at 9am [GMT].

It is a shame all the tour dates are going to be in the UK, but I am certain we will see him on this side of the pond soon.

MICHAEL JACKSON'S 16-YEAR-OLD SON BECOMES NEW TV HOST!

Jackson’s son is in the limelight and looks right at home! I really didn’t see this coming, but it turns out, Michael Jackson’s son Prince Michael has been named as the new on-air correspondent for US TV show Entertainment Tonight.

The 16 year-old will interview celebrities for the CBS entertainment program, and is already feeling at home interviewing high-profile actors like Zach Braff and James Franco to promote their new movie Oz, The Great and Powerful.

In the preview of Jackson’s TV debut, which you can watch below, the teenager asks Franco, Braff and movie director Sam Raimi for advice on making it in the entertainment industry and also recalls his late father’s appearance in the 1978 movie The Wiz.
When it is pointed out that he seems a lot more mature than his age, Jackson remarks that his upbringing is responsible, “It’s all thanks to my Dad, he raised me right.”

Check him out in one of his first interviews for Entertainment Tonight right below:

JOAQUIN PHOENIX DROWNED!

If you were wonderring why Oscar-nominated actorJoaquin Phoenix hasn’t appeared in many films since, I'm Not Here, the answer is: PETA drowned him!
Phoenix is incredibly talented and always looking for controversy! This is why it makes complete sense that he join forces with PETA, the world’s largest animal rights group who is no stranger to controversial advertising. In fact lets be honest, most of its past campaign themes–from models wearing nothing but lettuce leaves on their privates to ads likening the slaughter of chickens to the Holocaust–were made to shock.
Now, PETA is claiming that ABC refused to air its latest spot during the upcoming Oscars telecast because it’s too “political and controversial.” Duh! like they didn't se that coming! The commercial features Phoenix submerged in water, as his voice-over draws parallels between the pain and fear associated with drowning and the ordeal of fish doomed to suffocate in the air after being caught. I'm sure PETA didn’t actually expect ABC to run its ad, and was counting on the “too controversial” label gain the campaign te attention the group is so good at earning. I mean, we took the bait, right?!

ANOTHER MUSIC ICON: 'WROTE A SONG FOR EVERYONE''

Wow everyone's coming back! London Suede just announced their new album and now another music icon has announced something pretty fucking special!

I'm talking about JOHN FOGERTY’S much-anticipated new album WROTE A SONG FOR EVERYONE which is due for  release May 28.

I'm seriously peeing my pants because this is going to sound so AWESOME! Even if you don' know his name, chances are you have heard at least one of his songs in your lifetime and loved it!

The album is available for pre-order in both the iTunes and Amazon stores.

One of the album’s highlights--FOGERTY’s immortal swamp rock smash hit “Born On The Bayou” which the legendary rocker has recorded with Kid Rock--was used by NFL Network in their coverage of Super Bowl XLVII fittingly played in New Orleans.

Wrote a Song for Everyone tracklisting:
1. Fortunate Son (with Foo Fighters)
2. Almost Saturday Night (with Keith Urban)
3. Lodi (with Shane Fogerty and Tyler Fogerty)
4. Mystic Highway (John Fogerty solo)
5. Wrote a Song for Everyone (with Miranda Lambert feat. Tom Morello)
6. Bad Moon Rising (with Zac Brown Band)
7. Long As I Can See the Light (with My Morning Jacket)
8. Born on the Bayou (with Kid Rock)
9. Train of Fools (John Fogerty solo)
10. Someday Never Comes (with Dawes)
11. Who'll Stop the Rain (with Bob Seger)
12. Hot Rod Heart (with Brad Paisley)
13. Have You Ever Seen the Rain (with Alan Jackson)
14. Proud Mary (with Jennifer Hudson feat. Allen Toussaint and the Rebirth Brass Band)

As FOGERTY explains in a cover story in the current (January/February) “Legends” issue of American Songwriter: “I encouraged each of these artists to come up with their own vision of my song, rather than just redoing what I’d recorded in the past. I was hoping they’d have some different twist so it would be fresh, so I’d have to work, too. I wanted it to be something new.”

JOHN FOGERTY will tour in 2013 and look for him to be at this year’s SXSW in Austin(dates/events TBA).

LONDON SUEDE RELEASE 'BLOODSPORTS' ON MARCH 18

WATCH THE BRAND NEW VIDEO FOR 'IT STARTS AND ENDS WITH YOUHERE

One of my favorite bands ever! Is back with a sound as mesmerizing as ever. Comebacks can be hard! You never know if they've had heir time or if hey are true music legends. Well, The London Suede (also known as Suede) are ARE  legends and they have just announced the North American release for their sixth studio album ‘Bloodsports’ out on March 19, 2013 on Ingrooves/Fontana.

Scream, cry do what you must, it is totally understandable!

“After a year of sweating and bleeding over the record it's finally finished, so we wanted to get some music out there as soon as we could. It's about lust, it's about the chase, it's about the endless carnal game of love. It was possibly the hardest we've ever made but certainly the most satisfying. It's ten furious songs, for me, have reclaimed from ourselves what Suede was always about; drama, melody and noise.” said the band's front-man and founding member Brett Anderson about 'Bloodsports', their first studio album release since 2002.

The first track to be heard from the album is the swirling anthemic ‘Barriers’, now available as a free download at: suedebarriers.viinyl.com

U.S fans can download ‘It Starts And Ends With You’ and pre-order ‘Bloodsports’ via iTunes here.

UK and European fans can also download ‘It Starts And Ends With You’ and pre-order 'Bloodsportshere.
