Everyone should come
check out Modern Nature, this awesome new shop wich carries a ton of cool shit! It is located
right nest to the chacha so you can kill two birds with one stone!
After teaming up to
create a collection of of menswear,
friends Stacey Clark and John Swartz of Silver Lake decided that they needed a
storefront to showcase their minimalist-style, Modern Nature's line of t-shirts,
swim trunks and underwear.
The result was the opening of the Modern Nature
store, which is located in the building that houses Rockaway Records, Silver
Lake Wine, a yoga studio and other shops.
The owners settled
on the Glendale Boulevard location after deciding that parking had grown to
tight in the Sunset Junction of Silver Lake.
The storefront faces a parking lot – not the street – but patrons of the
wine shop and the other businesses began to wander into the store as Clark and
Swartz were beginning to stock merchandise in the stark-white space.
In addition to
Modern Nature merchandise, the store carries a selection of THVM denim jeans,
Malin & Goetz skin care products for men and women and other items. In
addition, Modern Nature plans to host art shows in the space. “There is nothing
like it [in Silver Lake],” Clark said
