Franco is a very, very busy man. When he’s not
writing books, designing T-shirts, curating art shows, being in a spoken-word
band, writing for Playboy, doing parodies of Justin Bieber, and generally being
the coolest dude in town, he also has some spare time to direct movies.
This includes Interior. Leather Bar, where he’s teamed up
with avant-garde gay porn auteur Travis Matthews to recreate the 40 minutes of
explicit S&M which was cut (and later destroyed) from William Friedkin’s
1980 flick Cruising to avoid an X rating.
From here the movie hopes to stem
into much broader, and still incredibly relevant, themes of sexual and creative
freedom.
I think for this he is super badass 2013!
