This saturday LACMA will is to become a sonic adventure when Muse ’til Midnight
fills the museum’s modern and contemporary galleries with tailor-made
soundtracks performed or arranged by various DJs and musicians. This exclusive,
after-hours exploration of sound includes both amplified and “silent” music.
Featuring:
GEOGRAPHER: Called one of the "undiscovered bands you need
to hear now" by SPIN, Geographer has risen from the ranks of the unknown
with their incredible live shows filled with beautiful, haunting melodies. The
backdrop of Chris Burden's Urban Light will make their LACMA set especially
spectacular.
DUBLAB: Dublab is a nonprofit collective of the planet’s most
progressive music selectors. Whether bringing dance floors to a boil, exploring
magic experimentalism, or spinning far-out, eclectic sets, Dublab is devoted to
the growth of positive music, arts, and culture.
SILENT FRISCO: Through the use of custom “silent” wireless
headphone technology, Silent Frisco produces unique music experiences where
live artists rock the house without waking the neighbors!
