I read this on Yahoo news earlier, but had to give it a day for the rumors to dissipate. It turns out, there weren’t rumors at all, Canadian punk-pop princes Avril Lavine is totally in love with Nickelback's Chad Kroeger. So in love in fact that she has accepted his proposal to be Mrs. Kroeger!

The pair shocked their fans
on Tuesday by exposing their love affair of over 6 months and revealing that
they are getting hitched!
This couple is just odd! I
liked Avril way better with Sum 41's Deryck Whibley. Then again both Avril and
Chad are cheesy pop acts so I gues sit shouldn’t really surprise us. This will
be the first time walking down the isle for 37-year-old Nickleback singer.
According to People, Avril
and Chad met in early 2012 to collaborate on a track for Avril's forthcoming
fifth album, and "a romantic relationship blossomed as they spent time
writing together," a source tells the magazine.
Chad proposed to the Miz punky on August 8, 14-carat diamond ring in hand.
"He makes her so
happy," a family friend tells People. "Both of their families could
not be more excited."
Avril will soon become most
hated missus in pop music or maybe she’ll get a few people to change their
thoughts on NIckleback? Nah…probably not.
