Lamb Of God frontman Randy Blythe has been released on bail after he was arrested and charged with manslaughter towards the end of last week.

The singer, who was jailed after his arrest on Thursday (June 28), has been released after posting bail of 4 million korun ($196,000), but must remain in the country.

The incident took place on May 24 2010 at the band's show at Club Abaton, in Prague. According to reports, a fan jumped up on the stage where a tussle ensued in which the fan, known only as Daniel N, was injured. N, who fell from the stage and hit his head on the venue's concrete floor, later died, reportedly as a result of those injuries.

A translated statement from local Prague police reads as follows: "We have arrested the singer and charged him with the crime of bodily harm of 4th degree and resulting in the death of the fan.".

The rest of Lamb Of God have now returned to the US, with guitarist Mark Morton tweeting of their status: "Flooded with questions about Randy. I truly understand & appreciate your concern. But it would be irresponsible for me to comment on any of it."

Lamb Of God's management are expected to make a full statement later today (July 2) about Blythe, but have previously said that they expect the singer to be "fully exonerated".
