What a scandal! Yet another person is suing
Courtney Love, the hot mess you love to hate. No, its not her daughter or Dave
Ghrol. This time the Hole singer, known for being one of the most fu**ed up
people in the music biz and probably in real as well, is being sued by her
former lawyers over unpaid legal bills.
Keith A. Fink and Associates say
that while they were employed by the rockstar from January 2009 to October
2009, Love failed to cough up the $518, 000 dollars in fees she owed them. The
lawsuit, filed today in Los Angeles, also claims Love's business manager
promised payment, citing Love's potential income from the Nirvana estate, but
the money never showed up. Fink is seeking over $460,000 in fees and back
payments, plus damages. Lets face it you’ve bound to end up with some serious
damage after you work for Love.
"We simply were not paid
money that we earned," told tells Rolling Stone Magazine. "I finally
got tired of the repeated promises by Courtney's business manager that we would
be paid and thus filed this lawsuit."
In April, Love's attorneys at
Pyror Cashman sought to withdraw their counsel after being hired to defend Love
from one of her previous lawyers, Rhonda Holmes. She’s just burning people left
and right! Let’s hope she doesn’t burn though what’s left of Cobain’s Estate before
she needs to hire another lawyer.
