What?! Oasis and Blur together?! Well maybe not the entire band, but definitely the two main songwriters. Now that Neel Gallagher is best buds with Damon Albarn, anything is possible.Anything except an Oasis reunion.
Gallagher has said that he is "interested" in
working with Albarn but refuted claims Oasis will reform in 2014 and
headline Glastonbury. What a total
bummer, after all the rumors I almost believed they were reuniting.
Anyway, so Gallagher spoke about his friendship with the
Blur frontman, as well as the future of Oasis, while at this year's GQ Awards
where he collected an Icon prize. He said he’s is up for working with Albarn
but there is no chance fans will see him back with brother Liam and Oasis next
year.
When asked about the Oasis reunion inm 2014 reunion
Gallagher spat a firm "no." However, his friendship with Albarn may
move in a musical direction with Gallagher adding: "I like Damon and would
be interested in working in something."
But the that’s not all the night wouldn’t be complete without
Noel shitting on somebody. And this time
the insults were aimed at Foreign Secretary William Hague who was present at GQ
Men Of The Year Awards in London on Tuesday night (September 4). Appearing on
stage to collect his Icon prize, Gallagher told the audience: "Nice to see
the Foreign Secretary here with all the shit going on in the world that he
should be sorting out. Good for you."
