MILEY CYRUS SAYS SHE WAS "MAKING HISTORY" WITH HER VMA PERFORMANCE

Miley Cyrus has explained that she wanted to "make history" with her controversial performance at the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) on August 25.  Well, If making yourself and other look like a fool is your idea of history then congrats Miley! Congrats on offering one of the cheesiest, lazy and straight up stupid performances. Lady gaga changed like five times during one song, Justin Timberlake danced all over the place, and all you did was rub a foam finger on your crotch and twerk. Somebody is obviously attention starved.  I will say that this performance did make me cringe so I suppose you did incite some emotion.
During a medley of her recent Number One hit 'We Can't Stop' and Robin Thicke's singles 'Blurred Lines' and 'Give It 2 U', Cyrus stripped down to a flesh-coloured bikini and was seen pointing at Thicke's crotch with a foam finger before "twerking" provocatively against the front of Thicke's striped trousers. Ooohhhh how crazy!
The performance became a hot topic online and drew criticism from a leading US parents' group and the inventor of the foam finger, who claimed that the singer had "degraded" an "icon".
Discussing the reaction to the performance, Cyrus said: "I don't pay attention to the negative because I've seen this play out so many times. How many times have we seen this play out in pop music? Madonna's done it. Britney's done it. Every VMA performance, that's what you're looking for; you're wanting to make history." She also revealed that she and Thicke were aware they were going to push buttons with their performance, saying: "Me and Robin the whole time said, 'You know we're about to make history right now.'"
The idiocy beguiles me! Miley, you are NOT Britney or Madonna, you are just a try hard! Why oh why did you have to murder Hanna Montana?!
