The Killers shot the video for the next single to be taken from their 'Battle Born' album in Blackpool just last week and you can expect a number of surprises!Not only was it directed by Tim Burton - pictured below - the video stars Hollywood actress Winona Ryder and was shot inside the city's ornate Tower Ballroom, reports the Blackpool Gazette.
This sounds exciting for everyone except Flowers's wife who is probably secretly hoping the Hollywood star won't steal her husband. After all, Ryder IS known for snatching hot musicians and Hollywood A-listers.
The night before the video shoot, the band were spotted by fans as they watched the new James Bond film Skyfall at the Blackpool branch of the Odeon. Cinema manager Samantha Sinclair, was quoted as saying: "It was really exciting. They were happy to have photos taken with locals... They were really nice, not very chatty but I know they had to cancel their gig on Tuesday because Brandon lost his voice."TThe Killers have now rescheduled the dates for their two recently axed Manchester shows.
The band were forced to cut their show short at the city's Arena after vocal problems forced frontman Brandon Flowers to end the gig after four songs.
