MUMFORD AND SONS JAILED FOR HUMAN TRAFFICKING

Well...ALMOST! Oh, Mumfords, what are we going to do with you! The They seem wholesome enough but it was recently revealed that  Mumford and Sons almost found themselves in trouble with US border patrols last year after they were accused of trafficking illegal immigrants into the country.

The folk band, who toured across the US on a vintage train alongside tother bad ass hipster hippies like Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros and the Old Crow Medicine Show as part of the 'Big Easy Express' tour, were collared by police in Texas, who believed that they were using the vehicle to smuggle people over the Mexican border.

Speaking to The Sunday Times about the incident, bassist Ted Dwane said: 'In Marfa, Texas, we were pulled over by police waiting for us with cars across the track. They accused us of stowing people away on the train."

He continued: "It was edgy, but the gig eventually went ahead. We swelled the town about fivefold and ended up playing soccer with the police."

See, they are nice boys after all! Things would have been a whole lot different if they busted Oasis for the same thing, I'm sure of it! Mumford And Sons release their new album 'Babel' on September 24. The album is the follow-up to the quartet's hugely successful debut 'Sigh No More' and has been produced by Arcade Fire/Coldplay collaborator Markus Dravs, who also worked with the band on their first album.
