According to Frances Bean Cobain, her mother, Courtney Love, was responsible for the death of two family pets while existing on a diet of "Xanax, Adderall, Sonata and Abilify, sugar and cigarettes," back in 2009, when Cobain requested a restraining order against her mom. The 19-year-old's court testimony included claims that her mother's hoarding habits had killed their cat, while the dog died after swallowing some of her mom's pills. She went on to accuse Love of starting fights with Frances' boyfriend and once threatening to jump off a balcony. But Love may have turned over a new leaf. The testimony went public after Love gave multiple interviews to TheFix.com, a website about addiction for addicts, in which she candidly shared the degree to which her drug abuse had damaged her relationship with her teenage daughter. The results have been compiled by site editor Maer Roshan into a new e-book called "Courtney Comes Clean: The High Life and Dark Depths of Music's Most Controversial Icon."
