THE STROKES GET THERAPY - JULIAN CASABLANCAS THE FACE OF NEW PERFUME

They might be New Yorkers but L.A. still loves The Strokes.  France loves them too, especially frontman Julian Casablancas who is now the face of French perfume Azarro. The new commercial, which features a close up of Casablancas singing to camera, before he jumps into a rabid crowd, is being shown on French television to showcase Azarro's product.
The Strokes, who are currently on tour, recently spoke about the sessions for their new album, which bassist Nikolai Fraiture has described as "therapy in a marriage."
Fraiture told the Daily Star:
Some people are bringing in stuff, some are not. There aren't so many finished songs but we have many parts. We try putting them together like puzzles and making them stick.

Fraiture added that the sessions will only kick up a gear when everyone has the time to hit the studio together.
“What we do on our own is not the same as what we do together. We're in a good place as a band right now. I feel like I'm at therapy in a marriage.”
