First of all, white girls need to regroup and have a brainstorm! Sooo over every blonde pop star and their twerking black background dancers. Look at me I'm the blond white one that stands out! Can you see me?!
Lily Allen has said that she would be interested in working with Miley Cyrus, citing the US popstar's album 'Bangerz' as one of her favorite albums of the year. The news may come as a surprise to some, who have suggested that Allen's controversial 'Hard Out Here' video is a spoof on Cyrus' 'We Can't Stop' video. You can see it below:
Speaking about her Cyrus, Allen says: "I do really like
Miley. She’s funny, witty and clever, I love what she does. I think her and
Lorde’s album have had the most plays in my car this year. I never went on
record saying the video was a direct pop at her – it wasn’t."
Since its release, Allen has defended both 'Hard Out Here'
and its accompanying video, which shows her dancing with a group of black
dancers in a spoof of hip-hop music video troops. Part of the video has been picked up on by some critics, who claim that using black dancers to gyrate explicitly around a white singer, albeit ironically, is not acceptable.
Are you fucking kidding me?! Not Ag-fuckingain!? In case you didn't know there's another artist who has also applied these antics in her videos before Miley. Check out Lil Debbie's video, 'Ratchets' right below:
