CANADIAN BAND -NOT NICKLEBACK- TO DROP MGMT LIKE ALBUM

The AlbertansUntil recently I had no idea that the Albertans existed, and I can’t imagine why. Oh right, cause they’re Canadian. Just kidding! In all seriousness, they are pretty rad.

The band emerged from the studio for a third time with a new album that explores deeper territory than the off kilter pop hooks they offered in past qworks. Out September 10 on Ernest Jenning Record Co., Dangerous Anything offers a sound that's dark and often challenging while still making previous comparisons to MGMT, CAN, and Sparks as appropriate as ever. So...must be good!

Guitarist/Vocalist Joel Bravo says this record changed the way they approached song writing all together. "We stopped forcing ourselves to be together constantly.  We left each other alone and then when we got together, we wrote everything in the room as a group. And when we got sick of listening to ourselves play, we stopped. The end result is a record I love."
