Noel Gallagher is denying rumors that he’s been chosen to pen the theme song for the new James Bond film.
Earlier this month, it was reported that the High Flying Birds frontman was being considers, more like considering accepting the gig of penning the music for the new 007 flick Skyfall, but the singer has shot down the "bizarre" gossip on his official website Noelgallagher.com.
He wrote: "I don't know where you've seen a story that's doing the rounds about me being offered the job of penning the tune for the new James Bond film? Apparently I'm being courted by '007 bosses!' A meeting 'will be taking place in the next few days'. With some guy called [film producer] "Michael G. Wilson" (whoever he is)!"
Gallagher then went on to add:

Skyfall, Bond's 23rd outing, is due to hit cinema screens on October of next year.
