Brooke White and Jack Matranga, together known as Jack and White, are thrilled to announce the release of their debut EP, GEMINI out today on June Baby Records. The new work has a “modern folk-pop” sound according to White, the former season 7 American Idol contestant.
The chanteuce, in true singer/songwriter fashion, also paints a picture of their sound: “Horseback riding down the Pacific coast—that’s what it is!” Ahhhh doesn't that sound lovely!
The first single "Double Trouble" off this compelling six-song collection is featured as this week's iTunes "Single of the Week."
What can you expect from this dynamic duo? The answer is easy, a fusion of raw energy and magic that translates into skilled pop melodies, somewhat like the Buckingham/Nicks pairing of the 70's. Yes, its that good.
