The Killers have the best dream pop songs! Like there's feelings of hope and
happiness and you just want to dance around or fall in love. I know, cheeeessssey! Anyway, based on the new song they just released – which by the way was produced
by M83’s Anthony Gonzales so it has to be good! - they are still as awesome as before.
The band announced a previously rumored greatest hits album
called Direct Hits, which will feature the song, “Shot at the Night,” and if
you haven’t heard it scroll down and enjoy.
The 15-track compilation will bring together hits like “Mr
Brightside” and “Smile Like You Mean It” along with a second new cut
rakishly-titled “Just Another Girl.” I’ve
been trying to find it, but no luck yet…
The audio for “Shot at the Night” has been released through
Vevo, following much Facebook teasing for the track from the band that included
morse code messages.
The deluxe awesome bad ass edition of “Direct Hits” will
include a demo version of “Mr Brightside,” Be Still and Calvin Harris’s remix
of “When You Were Young.”
