FRONTMAN FOR DEATH METAL BAND DIES IN MOTORCYCLE CRASH

This is a tragic loss and it is unfortunate that Mitchell Lucker, frontman for the death-metal band rising star Suicide Silence, died Thursday of injuries in a Southern California motorcycle crash. He was 28.
Lucker lost control of his black 2013 Harley-Davidson in Huntington Beach at 8:55 p.m. on Halloween night and slammed into a Main Street light pole, police said in a news release. He died Thursday at University of California, Irvine, Medical Center.
Lucker, who lived in Huntington Beach, was ejected while the motorcycle continued south and crashed into a Nissan Titan pickup truck, police said in a news release. Two people in the pickup and nearby trick-or treaters weren't hurt.
The accident was being investigated to determine whether alcohol was a factor, police said.
Fans gathered Thursday night for a candlelight vigil at the crash site.
Riverside-based Suicide Silence members include guitarists Chris Garza and Mark Heylmun, bass player Dan Kenny and drummer Alex Lopez.
"There's no easy way to say this," the band said in a Thursday posting on its Facebook page. "Mitch passed away earlier this morning from injuries sustained during a motorcycle accident. This is completely devastating to all of us and we offer our deepest condolences to his family. He will be forever in our hearts."
Suicide Silence has released three Century Media albums: "The Cleansing," ''No Time to Bleed" and "The Black Crown."
Century Media's website describes Suicide Silence as the "modern death metal band for a new generation."
Lucker said on the record company website that the band is carving out an abrasive niche of its own.
"No imitators, no second guessing. I want it to be known," Lucker said. "It's the same thing as when you pop in a Korn, Deftones, or Slipknot CD: you know that stamp is there."

EVAN RACHEL WOOD AND JAMIE BELL MARRY IN SECRET WEDDING

Evan Rachel Wood and Jamie Bell, the stars of Green Day’s 2005 video “Wake Me Up When September Ends,” got married this week.
If you’ve never watched the video for this song, you should. Personally, I’m not a big fan of Green Day …  but ”Wake Me Up When September Ends” is an extremely poignant statement about the U.S. war with Iraq. It was shot in 2005, at the ugliest part of a very ugly war; it is emotional, romantic, and touching.
Anyway, twenty-six year old Jamie and 25-year old Evan first met when filming the video as teenagers, way back in 2005. They dated afterwards, but separated after about a year. Then Evan apparently lost her fucking mind and began dating the ultra-creepy and much, much older Marilyn Manson. They were even engaged for a time … one can only assume to the horror of her family and friends.
Reunited earlier this year, Jamie and Evan married a few days ago with a “small ceremony in California.” Further details have not yet been released so it’s unclear if it was small by normal standards or by celebrity standards. Evan tweeted “Words cannot describe the happiness I am feeling. Overwhelming.”

SINGER FLASHES PENIS ON NEW VIDEO

Check out this New Zealand born British singer/songwriter. You may or may not have heard of him, but its always news when a performer flashes his junk for the world to see, especially if the video is on the web! Publicity stunt or true art?!

Daniel Bedingfield has returned to the pop fray with a new video, which includes a full-frontal shot of his penis – watch it below (if you dare).

The singer – who had a hit in 2001 with his debut single 'Gotta Get Thru This' appears in the video writing around naked in water and blood.

The track, titled 'Secret Fear', is the second to be taken from the singer's new EP 'Stop The Traffik', which, if you're so inclined, can be downloaded for free on his website danielbedingfield.com.

The first song from the EP, 'Rocks Off' also featured the singer naked, after his pjamas got blown off by a gust of wind. I have no further comments I think the video below speaks for itself.

DIA DE LOS MUERTOS! 5 MEXICAN BANDS YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT

Día de los Muertos! Time to crack some skulls, it's the Day Of The Dead. In honor of this celebrationI thought I'd share this article that Kevin EG Perry wrote about some pretty awesome Mexican bands we should all get into!
Mexico’s most famous holiday is a chance for friends and family to gather together and remember those who are no longer with us while also enjoying the blind rush that comes from gnawing on a skull made of pure sugar.
...I rounded up the cream of Mexico’s music press to give you the lowdown on what’s hot south of the border, so pour yourself a cerveza with a shot of mescal on the side and hear this:
mac
1The Plastics Revolution
An electronic pop band with a distinctive Mexican flavour, the band brought a fresh new sound to the country’s indie scene when they broke through in 2009. Jimena Gómez Alarcón, editor of Mexican music magazine Marvin, says: “Their lyrics and vocals are pretty amazing, and it's hard to think of a more perfect song for a hot summer day than ‘Light of Day’.” Blogger Ximena Gonzalez Romano adds that their live show is something to behold: “They know how to put on a show and whenever I see them play they either come disguised or have some props on stage that make you feel as if you were someplace else.” Here's a video of them playing the aforementioned 'Light Of Day' with a Mariachi band in Mexico City's surreal water-world of Xochimilco. If you like that, check out their most recent single 'Fun In The Sun'.
2Late Nite Howl
Pablo Dodero is an established force in Mexican music, having been a sort of grunge star during the 90s. His latest project is perhaps his most personal and introspective, and singing predominatly in English. Jimena Gómez Alarcón describes his music as: “a dark dense sound full of grief and despair.” Blogger Berto Ceballos adds: “For me, it expresses in a certain way the melancholy of the way of living in an small northern town, with no doubt the contryside can be felt in his tunes.”
3Bill Yonson
Born in the northern deserts of Chihuahua, surrounded by narco-violence and Musica Norteña, Bill Yonson has somehow ended up producing sun-kissed electro-tropical songs. Jimena Gómez Alarcón says: “His music is deceivingly simple, with elements of sonidero he creates essentiality Mexican songs, songs that couldn't be created anywhere else, even if they don't sound like typical norteña sombrero-and-boots music.”
4Vicente Gayo
Vicente Gayo are an intriguing proposition, mixing elements of math rock with a poppier sound. Malfi of PR Agency MalfiCo. says: “They are a true Mexican band. They know the importance of rhythm in a song and they're not afraid to mix extremes. Alan's voice is soft while the instruments go crazy. They sounded like Two Door Cinema Club, before Two Door existed.” Berto Ceballos adds: “They where the first indie band in Mexico doing music with toys - circuit bending – so this turned a lot of attention towards them.”
5I Can Chase Dragons
Julio Gudiño of The Plastics Revolution also has a genre-melding electronica alter ego as I Can Chase Dragons. Ximena Gonzalez Romano says: “I would say he has a lot of Animal Collective influences, but he mixes it with Mexican folkloric music and creates something truly danceable.” Berto Ceballos adds: “It reminds me a lot of the Spanish musician El Guincho, but also Vampire Weekend with the sound of cumbia thrown in.”

NME Video
Music lovers are going to shit their pants when they hear it! A new track by Thom Yorke's supergroup Atoms For Peace has appeared on YouTube, after originally being played on Mary Anne Hobbs' XFM show yesterday (October 31). FUCK YEAH!!!

The song, titled 'What The Eyeballs Did', is the B-side to the 12inch vinyl release of debut single 'Default', which is due out on November 19 via XL Recordings – you can listen to the track above.

Thom Yorke features in the group alongside longtime
Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich and Red Hot Chili Pepper's Flea as well as drummer Joey Waronker and percussionist Mauro Refosco. Bitchin!Speaking about the new band, Yorke said in a statement: "You may have heard that I have a new project called Atoms For Peace. The name comes from some shows of The Eraser that happened a couple of years ago with Mauro, Joey, Nigel and Flea."

He added: "We got a big buzz from them and discovered loads of energy from transforming the music from electronic to live, and so afterwards, we carried on for a few days in the studio and decided to make it a loose, on-going thing. Immersed in the area between the two…electronic
and live."

THE MOST WICKED PARTY IS THIS SATURDAY!

This Saturday the HARD HAUNTED MANSION PRESENTS: DAY OF THE DEAD will take place at Los Angeles State Historic Park starting at 6:00 p.m. This is a guaranteed bloody good time!

What this means to music fans is witnessing an entire evening of the very best electronic and hip Hop acts in the world, here in our own back yard! Downtown is going to literally be throbbing to music giants such as Justice, Kill The Noise, Diplo, Knife Party among others.

I mean how could you miss a chance to see the international force who headlined Coachella and make you D.A.N.C.E. like no other?

Xavier de Rosnay & Gaspard Augé, the influential Parisian duo known as Justice are due to play their hits and hopefully some tracks from their upcoming second album Audio, Video, Disco. Straying even further from their dance music roots, the new effort is at once looser and heavier. The pair is said to use the combined musical vocabulary of rock and electronic to conjure a laid back

effort existing on the outer fringes of pop.

This event has been steadily growing over the years and has now turned into a staple for music enthusiasts in L.A. This event promises lowout extravaganza of high-profile performances, state-of-the-art staging and the renowned themed décor.

HARD Events set times is up and ready for your viewing pleasure. The performances are to take place across four specially themed music areas of the festival: the HARD Stage, Knife Party presents Earstorm Stage, Moombahton Massive Stage and Red Bull Music Academy Discotheque.

This year the event includes a treasure hunt with  the participation of os Angeles artists Brandon Schoolhouse of Han Cholo and artist Matthew Goldman (MFG) who collaborated on a limited edition commemorative piece.  The HARD x MFG x Han Cholo collaboration is sterling silver ring with the iconic MFG Day of the Dead skull wearing HARD headphones. Only five pieces were made, and anyone can win them!   Three of the rings are, as we speak, hidden across Los Angeles, fans have the opportunity find them if they follow the clues that appear via Twitter at @HARDFest.

Set times are as follows:

SHAMELESS EVEN DURING A COURT HEARING!

This guy is despicable even while in court. Look at his thug bully ass sitting there laughing! I can't believe the audacity to sit in a court room, cause he beat the living daylights out of a woman no less, and he's laughing like he's having a blast!

Apparently there was even a funny moment during the Chris Brown progress hearing today -- the singer tried to talk in court ... and his lawyer shut his ass down.

The hearing (stemming from the
Rihanna beating case) was pretty standard ... Brown's lawyer Mark Geragos asked for permission for Brown to go on an upcoming world tour and discussed Chris' community service ... which, for once, didn't raise any red flags.

But the funniest moment happened when Chris opened his mouth in an effort to answer the judge's question regarding his tour schedule.

Before he could get a word out, Geragos stepped in and shut him up saying, "I don't dance, you don't talk."
